Raisin water

A good start to the day begins with taking care of the liver. Raisin water has cleansing power. In a gentle way it works in the liver and helps this important organ to cleanse itself. Raisin water is not only good for the liver, it also helps with skin irritations. Like any healing remedy, it should be used for only a few weeks to avoid adaptation. After 4 to 6 weeks, it is recommended that you discontinue use for at least 2 to 4 weeks. Over the period of application you should observe yourself to become aware of positive changes.

And this is how you can easily make your own raisin water:

Use about 8 – 10, organic, raisins.  The raisins should be unsulphured(!) and not artificially sweetened. It is especially good if the grapes are grown on volcanic sites. Make an infusion overnight. To do this, soak the raisins in 100 – 200 ml of cold, filtered water (good water) for at least 8 hours. Remove the raisins and season the raisin water with some cinnamon and cardamon powder. Enjoy the raisin water in small mindful sips before your first meal.

Cold – do not boil!
You should not boil the raisin water, because only by slow osmosis you avoid that much fructose from the raisins gets into the infusion. Too much fructose undermines the liver’s self-cleansing process.
