Potassium, calcium, phosphorus and the natural provitamin A are also found in this healthy exotic. With papain, papaya contains a protein-splitting enzyme. For this reason, papaya can also be used as a natural tenderizer. Papaya supports digestion and can also be used as a mild laxative for mild constipation.<br \/>\nThe apple-papaya chutney smells wonderful and is a taste revelation. Place the diced fruit and raisins in a deep bowl and drizzle the lime juice over them, pour in water.<br \/>\nHeat the ghee in a saucepan and fry finely chopped fresh ginger root just briefly until hot, then reduce heat slightly. Add the spices over a gentle heat and toast along with them. Then add the brown sugar (or coconut blossom sugar) and the three-quarters amount of diced fruit. Mix everything well and simmer on low heat for 10 minutes. Then add the remaining fruit and simmer for another 2 minutes.
